Defora Records presents “April Comes” the new EP by Canadian DJ/producer Lotech/Hijack. Dave Karwowski hails from the city of Kitchener, Ontario Canada. Having been interested in odd/quirky music since childhood with soundtracks from sci-fi and B-movies as his early influences, Dave began DJ’ing in 1991 after being exposed to early house and techno. He has had the pleasure of playing on the same bill as many international techno artists over the years. Beginning production in the early 2000’s, his style changed from harder techno towards a deeper sound. After discovering the ideas expressed by the titans of dub techno, he shifted his production to dub techno and ambient. Settling on the moniker of Lotech/Hijack, a constant search for a unique sound within dub techno has been at the heart of his production. Something for the dance-floor that can also be appreciated in a listening environment. His debut EP on the label features 3 amazing original tracks, something special for those who want a deep, groovy and immersive sound to get lost… Always Good Vibes with a Hard Twist!

Defora Records presents “Liminal Nation” the new EP from Swedish DJ/Producer Eponymous. The name Eponymous is a wordplay and it means giving one’s name to something, so he chose it as a tongue in cheek nod to artists taking names. Musically, he also likes to give some nods here and there, having a very broad range of influences. Born as Petter Karlström he grew up near Gothenburg, where independent music of all kinds has always had a strong foothold. This exposed him to everything from post-punk and new wave to electro-acoustic and experimental music. But what really caught his interest was the way that early techno from Detroit and Berlin seemed to combine the DIY-attitude of punk with electro-acoustic experiments that were also danceable. He’s currently based in Stockholm and for Eponymous techno still represents an anything-goes attitude. Defora Records presents “Calm Days” the new EP by Välth. Born in Hungary as Balint Halmai, he’s is a young and talented DJ/Producer currently based in Germany. His passion for electronic music started in 2012 focusing on Dubstep and Drum & Bass. Dj-ing and production came in 2014 and since then he has been crafting his skill in both of the fields.
