Defora Records presents the first release of 2019: “The Shadow” EP by Zakaria (DFR034). Let’s welcome to the family this talented dj/producer from Morocco, who’s real name is Zakaria Badreddine. A well known international performer and a passionate music lover since an early age, he decided to start his career as a DJ inspired by artists such as Zip , Ricardo Villalobos , Ron Trent and many more. His music is an elegant coalescence between minimalistic rhythms and raw soundscapes. In the studio and on stage, Zakaria is a perfect blend of natural talent and raw flare with a very distinctive style, influenced by his roots and taste in music. Defora Records presents “Dreamt” the new release by Hex. Fresh faced dynamic duo based in the UK, on a mission to expand and explore their musical capabilities. From a young age, music has been a second nature to them and a continuos journey that they have shared together. Several years of experience in production, and many in studio epiphanies as they eagerly attempt to master new software have lead them to the road they are on today. An open-ended soundscape of stripped back, intelligent grooves catering for the clubroom and after party alike. Their release includes 2 outstanding original tracks with deep and dub influences, that perfectly describe the HEX sound.

Defora Records presents “Neural” the new EP by Fedorf. Born in the city of Buenos Aires as Federico Fleitas, he started to work as a DJ in 2010 and later in 2015 he entered the world of production, releasing his music on several labels around the world. Fedorf’s unique style is a blend of hypnotic atmospheres, taking elements from progressive, tech and deep house. Defora Records proudly presents “WATER” the debut EP by FIGURA RETORICA. This eclectic duo of italian DJ/Producers from Milan (Massimiliano “Doc Juggler” Colombo & Lamberto “Mopoz” Carboni) started to collaborate in the studio in 2017, with the goal of blending together elements from two very different styles of electronic music: Deep House & Psy Trance. The end result of their sonic experiments is an hypnotic and trippy new style that they ironically call it “Psy-Deep”. For their very first EP, the two producers were deeply inspired by the liquid element of “water”, delivering 4 original tracks that perfectly describe their hybrid new style.
